What are the Cambrian and Precambrian Period?
|
 |
PreCambrian Period: Precambrian Period is Earth 450 Billion
years ago, when there are giant meterorites that assault the planet and volcanoes shower the Earth with heavy does of poisonous
gas. Many organisms wouldn't be able to survive or exist then. But despite the harsh and simple living environment, one-celled
organisms appeared
Cambrian Period: Cambrian Period is the period that is
very important to the geological timeline. Many of the animal groups we know today can be seen for the first time in
this period. It took 3 million years for single-celled organisms from the pre-cambrian period to the multi cellular organisms
seen here in the Cambrian Period. This was called the "Cambrian Explosion". Life was majorly underwater in shallow seas.
