Hallucigenia usually grows to 3 cms long. It probably survived and lived by crawling across the ocean floor, looking and
eating whatever it found to survive.
Arthropods have segmented bodies and jointed legs. Hallucigenia was not actually an arthropod. It did not have jointed
legs or a segmented body covered in a hard exoskeleton.
